The Power of Education

As we kick off the 50^TH birthday of PVCC, we begin a nine-month celebration of the College’s evolution and plans for the future. A series of reflective and scholarly activities and celebratory events will honor distinctive and innovative elements of PVCC’s approach to education and workforce training, characterized by a focus on student access and success and community wellness and growth.

In sharing stories from our past and highlighting excellence in the present – from and about students, staff, faculty, and community members – we aim to bring to living color the impact and power of education.

You can join in the celebration by attending special events, exploring PVCC’s history, and spreading PVCC pride. Through the power of education, PVCC has set in motion, witnessed, and helped produce numerous changemakers, trailblazers, and leaders – from within its staff, faculty, and student populations – and through diverse contributions from supporters, donors, and the broader community.
